Notes

Went out maybe a little fast but once I got through the first four miles or so, the numbness in my right leg went away and I got right into a groove. Many hills after that point, some more challenging than others. Apparently Rob and I were about 50 ft apart for most of the race, him in front the first 5, me in front through 10 or so. After the cul de sac I ran into Rob around 11 after he informed me that he was cashing this one in, just not his day. He encouraged me through the final 2 miles and I crawled up that last hill with about .5 remaining. Strong downhill finish. I'm very happy with this time and effort today. 64th overall, five year age groups and I still only managed 13th in my AG.

That is a hell of a race on that course and fantastically steady splits. Congrats on the big PR.

Hard to believe 9 months ago the old man beat you at Strawberry Festival. You have come a long way since then. Congrats on the big PR!

Egad

Thank you gentlemen. Gonna have to go on a diet if I want to keep improving or just simply stop eating the pizza and cheese steaks.

Great race, Eric. I've never run GB, but I understand it's a hilly course. So finishing under 1:35 is huge. You have come a long way since the Strawberry Festival. And you have lots of improvement ahead of you. Heck, wait 'til you get a little older and you won't have any difficulty placing in your division.

Very nice work. Glad I jogged with Gadbois the Elder today rather than race Gadbois the Younger.

Awesome. Great work E.

Nice race Egad !!! Congrats on the PR ! Scary to think of what you would do on a flat course right now.

Awesome race. You stride looked so easy and efficient for 5 miles I trailed you. Great finish too.
