Pouring outside. Laced up anyway. I was drenched by the first quarter mile. Totally gave up on avoiding puddles after a mile -- it was just impossible. Brooks rain-jacket worked well to keep me dry to start and then as a wind-breaker later. But the jacket soaked through. I didn't mind. At least it was cool and not stuffy.
Target Pace Tempo: 7:50. Certainly was glad the 10mi was finished. Might be a little more pace than I can handle for the distance.
