2mi warmup (9:00), 12mi(8:00), 4mi(7:45), 4mi(8:00) - marathon pace test.

Trying to establish a marathon pace. The good people at RunningAhead, after reviewing my training log, encouraged me to lower my Marathon goal from 3:45 to 3:30. Looks like they were right. I certainly had enough left for 4 more miles -- the last 2.6, who knows. The run felt very good. I struggled with the 8min pace only at mile 12. There's some transition going on there as usually 12 is a hard mile for me.

Also, adjusted juicing from first at 7 to first at 6 (then 11.5, 15.5). Seemed to help the 12 problem. Tried Carboom flavors, since those will be offered on the course. Stomach had no problem with them. Taste of the Berry is probably best.

Hip flexor bothered me from mile 8 through 12 (of main workout), then stopped when the speed picked up. Came back around mile 18 when I slowed down. Odd. Anterior Tib problems are gone.
