COMMENTS: My half marathon split was 1:28:30; after 15 miles I was unable to maintain 6:47 pace. The last 11.2 miles I just focused on not stopping and grinding it out. I was able to surge the last .75 and pass some people that had passed me. My fueling strategy of taking GU20 at every aid station worked. I ate about 5 GU's during the race. The cold affected me negatively and I believe wearing racing flats caused my legs to fatigue prematurely.
