Interesting race. The race started with two overall slightly downhill miles and one large hill in the second mile. Then we turned around and did it backwards. I felt phenomenal until just beyond mile two, and then I hit the wall, bad. But it was still a cool race. It was loaded, probably because of the cash prize for first place... pretty much all of the super fast people from around the area ran. Anywho, I was happy for the first race in a long time, considering how I've been dealing with injuries for a while... and I even won a $10 gift certificate for getting 3rd in my age group to Dick's Sporting Goods.
