First 2 mile time trial of the season to gauge fitness. Ran 5:20 for the first mile and then 5:31. Felt good and focused all the way through. I could feel myself slowing in the second mile and should have put up more effort to hang tough. Cass was on my hip for the first mile and Starbuck pulled away in the second. Weight loss and a few workouts should put me back to 10:30.
