ran in an old pair of blue sauconys at Pate Hollow (Paynetown SRA). Scott took me and Ted to the right at the top of the first big hill which was just 2 miles more of vicious hills. I wasn't feeling it so I went back and stopped along the way to admire a beautiful creek in the rain. Got back and decided to run the road down to Lake Monroe. Paused to look out over the Lake for a bit in the mist and fog then ran back on Whitetail Trail which I liked a lot more. It was rolling but no grinders so it moves pretty fast. Then I tagged on another 10 mins running the normal trail backwards and back to the parking lot. It was nice to be out there alone. Bfast at the bakehouse downtown afterward.
