Got up at 4:40am to start monitoring protests in Baghdad. Hamas attacked Israel October 7 in the largest attack since the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Served on the first night of the crisis task force. Crazy week.
Despite only sleeping 3 hours, wanted to get a run in on the crisp, dry, cool fall day. Ran Bluemont - Four Mile Run -Lubber Run loop but added some on by going up the dirt trails near Glencarlyn Dog Park. Felt good, back held up, furthest I've gone in years. When I got back to the apartment, a fox was waiting in the neighbor's backyard. Fall!
