First run back home. I have definitely lost some running "mojo" after a 3 week vacation - even though I ran a few times on vacation, it was not often enough to keep up my conditioning. I ran pretty consistently easy 10 minute miles this morning, but my heart rate was elevated - average of 165 bpm. I think there are many issues contributing to the high HR - loss of conditioning, hot and humid weather (even at 6am), a bit of fatigue due to the time change, etc. I may have to hit the treadmill a few times with some slower, controlled pace runs until my conditioning comes back.
