Notes
Again, I feel it's weird labeling a 4.5 mile run as a "long run" but that's where I'm at right now. Nasal congestion is better than last week (perhaps the pollen count is a little lower), but I still have tons of gook. The first mile of this run was great - a 10 minute mile pace with an average HR of 145...that's very promising. The overall average HR on the 4.5 miles was 157 - the same as last week...my splits were almost identical, but my HR was higher on the later miles today. Still, it's really good consistency. I hope to run around 5 to 5.5 miles for next weekend's long run - I'm traveling to Philly next week, so we'll see how tired I am when I return.
