Notes
Well, I wanted to run sub 3:45 but I guess it wasn't to be. I felt really, really amazing and was consistently ahead of pace (was supposed to be running 8:33 and was averaging 8:23) until mile 21 when I slowed slightly, and then I had an asthma attack. Used my inhaler but had to walk for some time because I felt dizzy and my hands and head felt a bit numb. The next few miles were a bit of a slog, but I managed to at least run the last full mile. Still got a PB, so I guess that's not bad!
Felt horrific afterwards, couldn't keep food down (surprise puked after taking a few bites of rice cake, and again out the car door after trying some crisps). Finally stopped trying to eat, drank a full liter of water and felt better. I think this must have been the same issue with Valencia and Vienna - I was actually severely dehydrated and needed to drink a whole lot more water before trying to eat.
