I was having the race of my life for the first half, but then unbearable knee pain started at mile 6. I had to stop and walk and actually come to a complete stop a couple of times to stretch, and wasn't sure if I could finish. Within a mile it stopped hurting and I got straight back to 7:45-7:50 pace but had lost a full 2 minutes. Mile 12 was a bit slow because of discomfort/ cramping but managed to finish strong. Frustrated about my knee, but never gave in - I was absolutely determined to run a PB today and I did.
