4x1600m @ tempo pace (5:48) w/ 60s rest in between intervals-followed by 6x200m @ R (34-35) w/ 200m jog recovery.

Took yesterday off, hoping to offset the calf/shin pain that bothered me last week. Have been doing a better job of rolling and using a rope to keep circulation up, and it seems to be working. Although I had some mild knee pains during the w/u.

Anyways, felt fine on the first mile, despite being slightly quick. Fell off in the final 200m of the 2nd mile, and had to make a quick pit stop. Had some trouble getting back into rhythm once I stepped back on the track. Last one was better, but only because I ran 80 for the last lap. Figured a 5th wouldn't be too beneficial, and also everyone was moving on to the 200s. Would have liked to be at 34 for most of these, but not too worried since I was still in range coach prescribed. There were some nasty winds on the backstretch, definitely slowed down times.
