Did 5K time trial from mile marker 2 to 5.1 in the middle of the Apple Popcorn Festival 10K race.
Mile splits: 8:27, 8:24, 8:19, 0:52 (8:03 pace), for total of 26:02, well ahead of my target of 26:25.
Felt good...I'm pleased with the negative spits.
And I got a T shirt for 15 bucks, a local race and still have the whole day ahead of me.
