Notes
Feels like -6C Wind N 29kmh, by the end of the race, it was 7C, feels like 3, a few clouds, Wind N 18kmh, Humidity 42%.
Terrible chest cold all week, coughing and congestion. Awful sleep maybe 3 or 4 good hours, if that. This was a recipe for disaster. I can't help feeling disappointed after faithfully completing long runs in a brutal winter. The funny thing is that the legs felt okay. A bit of mild cramping at the end, but likely due to sudden warm weather. Fits of coughing brought me to a standstill and considered abandoning. Given the course changes, my first 15k should be categorized as a win. The wheels fell off in the second half. It was a bluebird day. Aside from a bit of headwind along the beach, this should have been a day to put down a fast time. Frustrating. Disappointing.
