This again was in the corporate meet. I ran an 800 leg. I started out in 3rd (last) by about 1/6 of a lap. By the end of the first lap I had closed about 1/2 the distance. After the 1st lap, I kept about the same pace going into the turn, and kept gaining on 2nd place, but in the 2nd to last straight away I either slowed a tad or he got faster. I didn't seem to make up much ground. At the end of the straight away I started spinting, and closed again but there was too much distance, and he beat me by about 35-40 feet. I think I ran about a good of a race as I could (for now).
