Notes

No warm up. Almost perfect conditions - little to no wind, temp of 38 above, road conditions excellent. Ran first 2 miles easy: 9:16, 8:39 (felt really good so wasn't tracking on my Garmin); 3 at 8:45 goal pace (8:33, 8:31, 8:24) 2 min. recovery; 3 at 8:45 goals pace (8:58, 8:33, 8:34) last mi.+ at 8:59. Was a fun run. Could have really kicked it but decided to try to stick to plan as close as possible. Love the plan, Jenn. Thanks for your work in taloring these workouts to my rate of conditioning. I'm really feeling the benefits in terms of fairly quick recoveries between runs. I really appreciate your coaching efforts.

This is SO encouraging as you got 7 miles in here at MP or under and felt strong doing so. You are running well above what you should be for a BQ in terms of paces and you've nailed or exceeded every workout. You should feel VERY confident about your chances here with 7 weeks to go! Proud of you!!!! Now, really enjoy some rest today!!!! GREAT job!!
