Notes

Warm up. Increasing/decreasing incline each mi. - 1,2,3,2,1. First 4 mi. at 9.09 pace. Was relaxed, felt strong, decided to adapt since incline was back down to 1, so ran .5 mi. at 8 min. pace and last .5 at 7:40 pace. Normal breathing throughout - kept same long steady relaxed stride at 8:00 and just slightly changed at 7:40. Breathing was just slightly elevated during latter part of last .5 mi. I know I have 12 mi. tomorrow, but have been running 10/8 mi. on Saturdays/Sundays and they've been a mix of graduating inclines and paces, so I didn't feel doing a little extra the last mi. today was a risk. Am so glad that I don't have any achilles heal or hamstring issues to contend with at this point. What a welcomed relief. Love my training plan so far. Thank you.
