No warm up. 3X2 miles at MP with 2 min. recoveries: First 2 mi.: 8:56, 8:57; first of 3 - 2 mi.: 1 at 8:38 and 1 at 8:32 with 2 min. recovery; second of 3 - 2 mi.: 1 at 8:47, 1 at 8:37 with 2 min. recovery; third of 3 - 2 mi.: 1 at 8:57, 1 at 8:17; final mi. at 9:29. It was a bit of a challenge trying to determine 8:45 pace because of 2 min. recoveries at slower pace stuck in there - felt like I was running faster than it was indicating on my Garman and sure enough, I was. No harm done though. Felt good. Temp was perfect. Conditions good. Wind wasn't much of a factor. All in all, pretty satisfying run - no water or shot bloks. Had cottage cheese and chocolate milk right after run and this hit the spot.
