Actually loved my run tonight ... on the TM no less. Have to say I was wrestling with some doubts last week about Boston and my potential to run that course well and at a half decent pace. These last two days with my energy and endurance levels coming back I feel a little more optimistic. Set TM for 7 mi./incline 1 and ran progression: 2 mi.@ 9.37, 2 mi. @ 9.24, 2 mi. @ 9.09, finished last 2X800 m @ 8.95, and 8.82. Topped it off with 3X35 - 40 sec, strides at 6.00 pace and it was glorious - felt supper strong and could have held all 3 of them longer and I'm invigorated.

Part of what made this a good run was not having to try to keep my balance on the TM, straddling a crack down the center of the deck, and focusing on the run all at the same time.
