Average Heart Rate = 117 I kept it to 115/116 until the last minute and then it bounced up to 117.
I felt comfortable the whole time today and both kept the heart rate in check and had a decent training pace today so it 'really' worked. I think it was better today because I read the section in the Maffatone book on warm-up and cool-down and did a 15 minute warm up by running 1 minute and walking 2 minutes. Tomorrow, I'll warm up at 1/1 and see how that goes...
I think this will REALLY work after I start the diet next week. With my current weight at 150, I can only imagine how much better my running will be at 135. I think my weight goal will be 135 as a MAX weight.
