I tried today to hold the HR below 130 and we generally able to do so for the first 3+ miles and the pace was 12:04, 12:11 and 12;36.
BUT
After three miles it became harder to maintain that slower pace and really started struggling with the HR, Had to walk some and stopped a few times to get the HR down into the acceptable range. Paces 12:56, 13:02 and 13:17.
Going to have to look into this a little bit...
