8 mile run with 5X(2 min on / 2 min off) fartlek. Great workout today, although Achilles has gotten worse. I didn't feel much pain on the run today, just a lot more tightness. After post-run icing, I noticed that the tendon is not feeling right. Not a lot of pain when walking up and down stairs, just a lot of discomfort. It is extremely tight, and actually I can feel the tendon stretch as I move my ankle. Almost like stretching a rubber band. Some type of vibration can be felt as I move my ankle, which doesn't seem good. I'm considering visiting a doctor if one if available, since something is just not right. I don't want rupture or snap anything, because I know if that ends up happening, that could require surgery, and months of time off.
