Notes

Quarry by myself. Had a greek sight exam to take so I went in the morning. It was suuuper cold, and I was not ready for it. I had also again gotten like 5 and a half hours of sleep the night before so I was not feeling good, but my body wasn't too beat up all things considered. The weather was wild though. It was a classic super foggy Gambier day, except way more foggy than I had seen before. First I ran by the nature preserve and there was fog settled in the divets of the field, which, when shined upon by the bright sun, looked so beautiful. Then when I got to the top of god's hill I saw that, in the direction of Howard, a massive cloud, one which you would think would not be so low to the ground, completely covered the landscape. It was like the cloud was only 10 feet off the ground. It was amazing to see, I wish I had my phone or something. Then when I got down nearer to the cloud it became intensely foggy, and at times on the quarry road and going back on Zion I couldn't see but 15-20 feet in front of me. It was like the whole world disappeared. When I was about half a mile out from the gap I heard the sound of a large truck or car approaching but I couldn't see it until it was basically right in front of me. If it had been a fast car I would barely have had time to react. It was really wild, almost supernatural.
