Notes

Long run. Got up around 6:30, was worried that I would not feel great because I had a couple of beers at dinner with some friends last night, but I felt ok. The weather was not bad when I started out, definitely better than I expected considering the last few days. Passed some guy like .5 in that I would see multiple times later on in the run. Around 2.5 though my stomach started doing literal front flips and I had to take a pit stop in that place by the railroad tracks. Got back into it and knew that it would happen again. Continued on and when I connected back with that main road I saw that guy again. as he had passed me because he kept going straight through the roundabout and because I had stopped. Passed him again (although he was on the opposite side of the road's path) and kept going. It was still cloudy, surprisingly, but I was getting tired. I turned around and that guy showed up again as I went back, and he was still going, so I assume he went longer than me (damn). Around 7 I had to stop dead in my tracks because my stomach started doing triple backflips, and barely made it back to the pitstop again, except this time I forgot to stop my watch, even though I clicked the button, and so there is that really slow mile in there. Continued on, at that point pretty tired, and then, to make matters worse, the chafing started setting in. Damn it was really bad, like super painful. Rest of the run was spent with my shorts pulled down as much as possible without exposing myself to mitigate the pain.
