5 mile progression

Steve had Josh and I run 5 miles instead of 7 because we've been pretty beat up lately. Went straight to the 2 mile mark to wait for Frintner and Willy to catch up. Took a while for them to catch up though because of a small miscommunication. First 2 miles were very rough. I definitely ate way too close to practice and that definitely showed as I was struggling to keep up with them in the beginning. Going in the first two miles in 11:18 probably didn't help either. Started to feel better the next two miles and kept up with them pretty well. Willy started to fall behind, probably the heat. Last mile, I took over and hammered the last mile as much as I could. We stopped a little early though because we missed the 7 mile mark by a bit, which is why that last mile is estimated. I didn't think I would have that much energy on that last mile considering how tired I was going up to it. This really felt more like an uneven steady state than a progression run, but it is what it is. I felt extremely tired afterwards and my chest felt very tight. Cooldown was a huge struggle. Going to try to get some good rest tonight as well.
