Not gonna lie, I'm pretty upset with this workout. So, Feldman and I decided to workout together since we won't be at practice due to class. Headed over to the UI track and hoped it was empty. It was too occupied for us to use it. Met up with Gerkin and Eli at the TL, but they decided to stay there while Feldman and I tried to go the Armory and see if that was open. It was empty, but the track team still had it until 6. Definitely one of the biggest inconveniences of being a club runner. A sad reality but we'll just have to find a way to deal with it. We decided to threshold our way back to the TL and start from the 2 mile mark since the half mile mark from 1 to 2 is the most visible.

First rep Feldman said he knew where the 2.5 mile mark was, so I let him lead. Never found it and we went around 20 seconds off pace. No big deal, we started ahead of where we finished since our way there was longer. I was already feeling pretty gassed, but I tried to not let it get to me. Saw that we were hitting 2:3x's pretty consistently, but I was worrying about how slow the times were and that pretty much affected the rest of my workout. Maxed out at just 7 while Feldman stayed strong and did 9. After he jogged back, we finished the workout with a decent 300. Cooled down on the way back.

Note to self: If my workout times are slower than what I should be hitting, I need to ditch the watch and focus on effort then because otherwise I'm just going to ruin my mentality.
