2k @ T w/ 1' R + 5-6 1200m @ 5k w/ 105" R

Went well overall. Goal was to hit this around 3:45, which is 5 minute pace. The purpose behind the workout was to extend the length of the reps while keeping recovery consistent from the k's workout 2 weeks ago. Did this at the Ramsey track, which to my luck, had the lights on. So, I didn't really have to bring my dad's watch with the back light since I would be able to actually keep track of where I was time wise. First 2 reps felt good and the third one felt tough. However, I grabbed a second wind on the fourth one and ran a pretty fast rep that time. I was pretty winded by the fifth one and debated whether or not to run the last one. I chose to stay tough and grind out that last one. It was the slowest one, but only by a few seconds off my fastest one, not even 4 seconds.

Happy with the effort I put in this workout and the times that came with it. 5k race in April is looking to be really good.
