Great workout today. Didn't feel too great warming up because of how hot it was, so I didn't feel confident going into this workout. However, I ended up feeling great during the Steady State and really only felt tired during the last two miles.

At the level you are at, steady state shouldn't be this much slower than threshold. My best guess is that you've been running threshold too fast, which isn't the best thing to do in the long run. Threshold is a workout where you should train for where you are at, not where you hope to be later in the season. Progression runs are coming soon, you can push on those. I could be wrong and you just run steady states on some route that causes slow times, but only you know.
