5 x mile @ T w/ 1' R, 4 x 400m Hard w/ FR
Due to a middle school track meet at Centennial High school, we had to go to the Tempo Loop and do a different workout. Group was me, Frintner, William. Arturo, Adam Billis, and Tyler were with us as well. Started off what seemed like threshold effort, which was roughly 6:00 pace. Kept that for 3 miles and then dropped to low 5:40's, which is probably our real threshold. Arturo and Adam hung on well and Tyler kept his own distance so he wouldn't get dragged along with us. Overall, it was a much better workout than last Tuesday and being able to run with a group makes such a huge difference. Feeling much more confident about this upcoming 5k.
