7 mile SS.
Not going to sugarcoat this. Workout sucked. Forgot how much running sucks in hot weather. I started out pretty well, not too fast. However, the heat got to me very quickly, and not even halfway through with the workout, I was mentally out. Part of it was on me for psyching myself for this workout too much, but even then, by the time I start, it's usually gone. I probably could have done one more mile so I could do the whole thing, but I decided against it because it's still early in the season and I don't need to be in a rush to get better. I just don't want the possibility of burning out before I even get back to school. Better luck next time.
