8 Mile Tempo @ 5:50. Solid comeback after a brutal first half.
Goal was 8 miles at 5:50. Right from the start, I was eating full headwind. Figured it would stay like this until I hit the bridge, so I just focused on the effort instead of time and trust that I'd pick it up there.
Picked up a second wind and proceeded to crush the last 4 miles. Really happy with how the workout turned out especially with how the beginning felt. Averaged 5:48 to boot.
