7 mile progression run.

This was a very solid workout. I didn't feel too confident going into this because of how Tuesday went, but I have always been able to pull off a great prog run no matter what. Usual prog group. These prog runs have pretty much become surge and hold, surge and hold. We started off a little fast, so we held it. We then put in a surge only to hold it again. Then we surged and surged more on the last three miles. Realistically, this way of progression runs make the most sense because there really is no way to carefully increase effort to drop pace so evenly unless we had a gps watch to track our pace the entire time. I took the lead for the last one to push the pace since we were falling back. Very exhausted in the end, but very happy to finish in a very fast time.

I definitely need to get smaller shoes because the ASICS are way too wide and it showed during the workout by getting blisters on my right foot. Also, my knee started to get really agitated halfway through, so that was irritating.
