25-45 minute SS
Went a lot better than I expected. Woke up ok and had a pretty hard warmup. It was admittedly hotter than usual so I'll give it that. Morning runs are very difficult for me for some reason. I always feel much more tired than I should. I decided worse case scenario, I'll give myself a break halfway if I'm not running the workout well.
Started off fast again, but I managed to run the rest of the miles pretty close to it though. Felt bad around the third mile and my chest was getting tight. However, the pain subsided and I was able to run pretty smoothly. Rolled my ankle badly on the fourth mile so I had to take a quick break, no longer than 20 seconds. Finished pretty strong and definitely felt like I could have done more. Form was breaking apart a bit, but the fact that I averaged around 5:36 for 8 miles is pretty impressive.
