Interesting workout. Very speedy and unforgiving for those who have watches who have short chronographs. Had to reset my watch before the workout and memorize how long I've been warming up. Coach split the group into two, one on the road and one on the track. I ran on the track with the other two groups. Tayron showed up today and Miguel wasn't there because of race preparation. Swapped leads with Huan the whole time and we got some solid splits throughout the workout. The second set felt a lot easier than the second set, although my legs felt pretty shitty the whole workout. Finished with a short cooldown and then headed home.

Heard the race I'm racing Sunday is very competitive, with a few guys running under 15. I don't see myself running anywhere near them, but I did hear that it's one of those races where people go out too hard and die because the first half of the first mile is supposedly downhill and then it gets uphill from there, kinda like the Lexington race 2015. Still haven't purchased racing flats yet. I think I'll decide to do that later in the summer, after I try Miguel's flats out first.

Also, RIP my watch's memory. Spend more time recording the splits than typing this write up.

Dang that stinks about the watch memory. Good luck at the 5k!
