Frostbite 2020.

Race plan was to get out smart for the first 2 miles and really work the third mile as it was the hilliest section of that whole race. Wasn't feeling too great given the relatively short turnaround from my workout, but it's always good to see how fast you can run tired.

Let a lot of people pass me early on in the race, but I trusted myself that I would get them later on. Felt comfortable through 2 miles and decided to really race from there. Slowly bagged up people one by one and felt good doing it. Starting to feel strained at mile 4, but I was pretty much at the finish line and just had to stay smooth. Got out kicked by one guy near the finish line, but no one else passed me the latter half of the race.

Positives: Ran a smart race to record a 37 second PR in the event! Very tough course, but I raced it really well. Much stronger second half than first half

Negative: Still got complacent when I was feeling pain my legs and was afraid to push myself.

Overall: Solid road race rustbuster.
