Very happy with this workout. Somerfield stressed at practice about focusing on effort and not pace, and that's pretty much how our workout was going to go. Smaller group than usual: Josh, me, Frintner, William, Auburn, and Jared. Threshold felt a little taxing, and my legs didn't feel too great. Tried to just ignore it. First k: fell off the guys after the hill, but caught back up. All remaining k's, pretty much how the first one went. I would fall back initially, but then realize I felt good and caught back up. I don't know why I kept doing that. I think I just kept psyching myself out that I would eventually burn and not be able to keep up with them, but obviously I did. Even after the last one, I still had more in the tank, but no point in pushing it when we haven't even raced Parkside.

I wished I came into this workout with a better attitude though. I always get nervous about these workouts because I would just progressively get worse at these workouts for some reason, so I'm always cautious. That's kinda why I had that yoyo thing during the reps. I need to trust myself better and just not overthink it too much. Getting good rest will also help as well.
