Medium long run on the dreadmill. Watched some shows on my phone to help pass the time. Started from 0.5% and 8mph and raised mph by 0.1 every 5 minutes. The treadmill I was on had a cool feature where you could go through a virtual course on the screen and I chose to go through the Bryce Canyon area in Utah. Pretty cool to see a good portion of the area, but I did not enjoy the fluctuations in incline. Sometimes the machine raised the incline all the way up to 2.2% just to mimic the course. I can understand why since it'd feel weird to be running flat while you're technically climbing up.
Run got separated into two portions because the machine goes into cooldown mode automatically after 1 hour, which sucks since I didn't wanna stop and restart the acceleration back into 8.8 mph that I was at before it cooled down. Sweated buckets by the time i finished. Leg strength afterwards and then headed home. Decent day overall.
