2 M warm up, 4x400 (1:46 goal) with 1 min rest, then 25 minutes at 7:50, then ~2 M cool down. Finished up with a few drills.
This was a fun workout. It wasn't very challenging, but that is sorta what I expected when I was put with the slowest of the bunch in the running group. I did the 400s fast compared to what the goal was. I was just running the pace that the others were holding. It didn't feel too hard. After the 400s we did a sustained run. I could hold that tempo pace for a long time. It felt pretty relaxed. Even though I was holding roughly a 7:50ish pace, I dropped the others in the group.
I didn't sleep very well last night. I kept waking up. I think I was nervous about the workout this morning.
