Felt really good today. I set my watch to pace me between 8:17 and 8:22. Seems like I was on the bottom end of that for most of the tempo part of the run.

Mile 2.5-3.5 was tough... the wind was at my back and I started overheating since it wasn't helping me cool down. keeping the pace felt hard at that point. Luckily when I turned a corner, the wind was blowing across me, and felt wonderful. It seems my HR was pretty high toward the end of the tempo part of the run. We'll see what happens when I do longer tempo runs.

Looking forward to tomorrow's easy run. It'll be wonderfully sweet to go slow again.
