What a confidence boosting run. This run felt incredible. Low HR through out, and FAST. The weather felt perfect. 75 and clear with not a lot of humidity. I set my watch to keep me under 158 bpm. I expected to run this at 10:30-11 min/mile pace, but felt great at 9-9:30 min/mile pace.
I did 4 mile laps instead of 5 or 6 like previous weeks. I also tested eating some jelly beans during my water breaks at the start of each lap. I ate about 75 calories at each lap. This felt like it was plenty of fuel for the next lap.
Tomorrow's a rest day, and then RACE WEEK!
