attempted ice climb up shoestring gully on mt. webster with Ben. got lost following tracks the wrong way to get to the gully, but eventually found it (note for next time: it's dead straight from the car). did 1 pitch and decided it was going to be just too windy at the top, since it was already blowing pretty good at the bottom. forecast was for 85-105 mph w/higher gusts. climbed up to the left to get into the trees and bailed. still a fun day. i will never regret bailing.
