backcountry ski on rainbow trail at carter dome with ben, noah, ryan. breaking trail through deep snow with a crust a few inches down, made this very, very slow. put skins on after slipping for about a mile. got pretty lost, as the trail is impossible to follow in winter. right hip flexor started to get sore and was hurting pretty good when we were going up in the birch glade. just went to the top of the glade and then got some nice turns on the way down.
