Pretty poor effort here. Tough to run hard when legs feel pretty sore. Tried to negative split, probably the wrong strategy for a 5k, but just need to work on race mentality. Fell way behind with a 5:29 first mile, but that was the plan. Second mile picked it up some, but the pace didn't seem to reflect how much harder I thought I was working. I think this was around a 5:20. Then on the last mile just felt like quitting. Passed a group briefly (robert, kyle lynn, terry) and then let them pass me back as I faded with a very slow finish. Legs are just tired.
Garmin had 3.16 at 5:27 pace.
