Big group out on the course organized by Jon. Starting at newton-wellesley hospital, out to natick and back for a quick water stop, then up to the top of heartbreak and back.
Immediately dropped by the main group on the way out and ran with Alex and Kate at a 7:30ish pace (into the wind). Knee felt sore. 7:05ish on the way back to newton wellesley, and started to feel better. After water, picked it up and did 4 miles over the newton hills at HMP effort. After 2 miles, Joe caught me and joined/beat me up to the top of heartbreak. Splits were 5:46, 5:44, 5:53, 6:02 (wind aided). Died a little on heartbreak, but still really happy with this tempo. Took it easy with 7:30s back to the car.
Some soreness in arches at heel at the end of the run.
