Mini tempo - in that I built in some "strides" - did about 5 quarter mile speed spurts where I got my pace into the 8's/9's. Didn't make a huge impact on overall average pace (or maybe it did, if you look and see how slow I started out), but just trying to start mentally introducing a little "push". Good run this morning. Rainy.
