Wore my new running pants and long sleeved (red) shirt. Thought it would be cold and wet after previous days storms but it was actually relatively warm. Felt like I was burning up for the first couple miles. Initially wanted to get under 1:40:00 but settled for a PR (just). Warm up for the Tokyo marathon in 2 weeks time. Didn't wear my knee brace - no repurcussions (yet!). Superbowl Sunday. Some tightness in the tendons at the back of my knee during part of the race, but nothing that held me back.
