Notes
30' x 2 tempo runs.
#1: ran the first 2km w/Joe, tried to keep Steffan in sight for the remainder. Time passed quickly and felt relatively easy. Pace between approx. 5:35/5:40.
#2: basically the last 6km. Everyone was way ahead of me, so tried to maintain the gap between Stef. Felt so much longer and challenging, but tried to stay focused. Wasn't sure of the pace while running, but glad I was picking up pace towards the end, 5:38-->5:05 ish (no wonder it felt tough...) Quads/IT band were getting tight, but nothing leading to injury.
Tried "artificial" fuels for this run, gummies during the 1st hour, and gel after the first tempo. Stomach ok. (But got motion sickness after BIG lunch, and spent the rest of day feeling queazy.)
