Terrain:
Notes: * From the Burke-Gilman trail intersection at Stone Way, head west
* Run under the Fremont Bridge
* Run for another 1/2 mile to 35th St
* Run east on 35th St to Fremont Ave
* Turn south on Fremont and run across the bridge
* Take the first right after the bridge, then a soft right onto Nickerson (the main road)
* Run on Nickerson, past the track at SPU
* Take the next right, toward the canal, and intersect with the South Canal Trail
* Turn right on the South Canal Trail, heading east
* Run under the Fremont Bridge
* In a 1/4 mile, do a U-Turn to end up on Westlake Ave, heading West
* Follow the sidewalk as it bends and crosses the Fremont Bridge
* Run north on Fremont to 35th St, and turn right
* Run east on 35th St until you hit Stone Way
* Turn right and head south one block to return to the Brooks Trailhead.
