Goal was sub-30:00, but humidity was extremely high and it was hot already. Even my shirt was wet just from a short warm up beforehand. Otherwise, course is flat and fast - consider it again next year for a PR.
Nice small race, nice t-shirt, a fee watermelon for everyone, and a cool 3rd place AG trophy.
Antique car show started down the street after the race (at the corner of Hoyt & US 90).
First mile was 8:58 pace ( started too fast for conditions)
My GPS indicated a race distance of 3.19 miles, but I probably didn't take the shortest route, either.
